No Kill South Carolina helps improve life saving and humane care Through Coalition Building Coaching Fundraising Training Direct Support. We are located in Pekin, Illinois, which is just outside of Peoria in the Central Illinois area. No Kill Huntsville is a coalition of local animal welfare advocates, rescuers and shelter directors who came together in January of 2012 to speak with one voice to seek better for our community. Across South Carolina Shelter and rescue groups are working hard to save lives No Kill South Carolina is working to save every healthy and treatable animal.
We also take in local cats and dogs who are in distressed. Tazewell Animal Protective Society (TAPS) is a No-Kill animal shelter that gives dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens a home until permanent homes can be found. Some are tied out with no shelter, food or water, and sometimes left abandoned to die. Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center is a no-kill animal shelter rescuing dogs and cats from kill shelters, and placing them into loving homes. Some of these organizations also have spay/neuter programs, and some help stem the overpopulation of stray and feral community cats in NYC through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs. We transport around 600 dogs from kill shelters and emergency situations to Pet Rescue each year. The nØkill Network also strives to promote the no-kill model so that shelters that do not currently have a no-kill policy might take the initiative needed to gain the. Each organization has an active adoption program to find homes for the animals in their care. The nØkill Network is dedicated to promoting no-kill animal shelters, organizations, and rescue groups by helping people learn about and locate these organizations. New York City area animal shelters and rescue groups take in dogs and cats (and some take in other animals, such as rabbits, exotics, and birds) from the public, and/or pull animals from Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC) as New Hope Partners.
